Lectures and Talks
Richard Weston is an experienced and accomplished lecturer with wide experience of addressing professional, academic and general audiences numbering 10 to 1,000. He has experience of primary to postgraduate education and is now keen to explore with interested audiences his ideas on the implications of the digital revolution on the making of what he calls – by analogy with the Slow Food movement – ‘slow goods’.
Exhibitions
Exhibitions of mineral images, fabrics and other goods have been held in museums and galleries in the UK and Denmark. We have a wide range of material available and welcome invitations to lend exhibits or develop new shows and installations.
Frocks from Rocks
To explore the potential of our fabrics in fashion design, in 2007 we sponsored a project called ‘Frocks from Rocks’ at Newport University’s fashion design school and have subsequently sponsored the final collections of selected students.
